Having worked in the healthcare industry as a private provider, the high costs we experience has caused a deep frustration.

The bearers of this cost are often the patients we serve, and talked about less are the systems we operate. The economics in this part of the world are complex. Access to quality and affordable healthcare is indeed a multifaceted problem in need of a multifaceted solution.

Caring for people goes beyond the figures and costs. It is more important to have a conscience and put a human touch to every single encounter, which goes beyond the physician-patient consultation. Thus, I have devoted the reminder of my career to working to make the healthcare system better. This in itself is a tedious job, but one that the entire Apline team and I are passionate about.
